In 2020, Jose Costa Rodrigues and Henrique Brás recognized a shift in the real estate industry: the way successful agents worked had changed. They were now leveraging technology to work faster and using social media to promote their business to massive online audiences.

This combination empowered a younger generation of agents to help clients rent, buy, and sell homes at an unprecedented pace, disrupting a market dominated by legacy brokerages.

That’s when we launched Relive — a brokerage built for this new generation of agents.

By 2022, we were ready to scale from Portugal to the USA. We had built a team, developed an app, and created a solid business plan. We thought we had everything figured out… except for one crucial question: "Where are we going to live?"

For a month, we bounced from one Airbnb to another. Finding a home was frustrating, exhausting, and left us feeling lost — until we connected with an agent who quickly curated a list of properties that matched our needs and guided us to our first home in America.

This experience helped us realize that “finding the right home is the first step to building the life you've always wanted.”

Working with that agent showed us that the apartment rental market was underserved. Most brokerages overlooked renters, even as more people were renting and delaying home ownership.

We saw a clear opportunity to build on our focus on the new generation of agents: create a brokerage that empowers them to provide exceptional service to renters. Once renters work with an agent they trust, they’re far more likely to return when they’re ready to buy a home.

This strategy, aligned with our belief that the new generation of agents builds their businesses differently, fueled our passion and drove Relive’s growth.

Today, our platform empowers 600+ licensed real estate agents who have helped over 7,000 clients find their dream homes, earning more than 1,500 5.0-star Google reviews along the way.
